88 Percent Of Americans Say The Nation Is ‘In Crisis’ With Trump As President

The American people are making it clear with each new poll that they’ve  lost all faith in Donald Trump to lead the nation or solve the problems facing the United States.

If you doubt that, consider a new poll from Navigator Research that shows fully 88 percent of those surveyed think the country is “in a crisis” with Trump as president. When was the last time nearly 90 percent of the populace agreed on anything? It certainly appears that the vast majority of us agree that the Trump presidency is one crisis event after another, and he’s failing every single challenge put before him.

Coronavirus continues to kill over 1,000 people across the country each and every day. The death toll from it now stands at over 116,000 and that number is expected to reach 200,000 by September.

What is Trump’s response to COVID-19? He denies it’s still a threat, urges states to loosen restrictions, and announces that later this month he’ll start holding rallies again. And to attend one, you have to sign a waiver saying you won’t sue the campaign if you contract the disease while attending the rally.

What is Trump’s response to the protests taking place nationally in response to the death of George Floyd at the hands of police officers? He threatens to shoot protesters, says he’s done more for black Americans than Abraham Lincoln, and tries to change the subject.

The simple fact is that Donald Trump is unable to meet the enormous challenge of the presidency. Sure, he talks a good game, brags that only he can fix the challenges that confront at this pivotal point in our history, but it’s all just words. It’s like saying you’re a brain surgeon because you kinda sorta thought you might be smart and talented enough.

This country is in a steady decline with Trump as president. The people know it, and the Navigator poll shows they’ve given up on him growing into the job. He hasn’t and he never will. He’s simply not capable of it.

If this “crisis” number remains high by Election Day, the results will be a landslide that sweeps Trump and the GOP from power.

The American people are worried. It appears they can’t wait to return to stability by removing Trump from office with their ballots.
