Ana Navarro: Trump’s Remarks On Virginia Prove He’s Spineless And Gutless (VIDEO)

Former GOP strategist and CNN commentator Ana Navarro has never been a fan of President Trump, and she’s also not afraid to speak her mind, as she proved Saturday evening when she appeared as part of a panel to discuss the day’s events in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Navarro began by saying that she was disgusted by the way Trump repeatedly refuses to condemn white supremacist groups such as those that marched in Virginia, ostensibly to protest the removal of a memorial to the former commander of Confederate forces, Robert E. Lee. Navarro said the president’s speech after the day’s violence–in which he condemned hatred “on many sides” was the final straw:

“This speech today was shameful. Here is the bottom line. This was not many sides. This is one side. It is white supremacists trying to instill terror in America.”

When Trump supporter Ben Ferguson attempted to interrupt Navarro, she shut him down with this:

“Ben, let me tell you something. He’s more capable of calling out his own attorney general and Mitch McConnell but he doesn’t have the spine or the guts to call out the white supremacists in America today and I am not going to defend that!”

Ferguson also tried to say that Trump had condemned the vehicular assault by James Alex Fields Jr., but Navarro was having none of it, accusing the president of sending a “dog whistle” to his most ardent supporters with his line about “many sides” being responsible for the violence.
