As A Shock To No One Ever, Devin Nunes Blames Obama For Russia Meddling In Election (VIDEO)

Just hours after he officially ended the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation of Russian meddling in the 2016 election, Devin Nunes (R-CA) appeared on Fox & Friends Tuesday morning in attempt to defend his indefensible actions.

Nunes began his whining by noting that he’s been called names by Democrats:

“It happens on a daily basis that I am accused of by the Democrats of being [a stooge for the president]. Right after I was named to the Trump transition team, I began getting attacks and began getting called — I was some agent of Russia and of a foreign power.”

And then Putin’s puppet tried to say that former President Obama and Hillary Clinton were to blame for what Russia did in 2016:

“I had warned the administration in early 2016 about this. We spent 14 months on this investigation looking for collusion. We didn’t find any.

“But on the other hand, we did find clear links between the Russians and the Hillary Clinton campaign. What we’re closing now is, look, there’s just no collusion.”

After telling the brainless Fox hosts that he would be happy to reopen the House probe into 2016 “if we find something new,” Nunes again tried to pin his own failure and that of the White House on Obama:

“Their inability to actually do anything against the Russians, it wasn’t just 2016. It goes all the way back to 2009 and 2010 when Hillary Clinton hit the reset button with Russia. So Trump’s position in the campaign was really no different from what the Obama administration position was.”

Nunes finished his interview by trying to pretend he thinks Russia is a threat to the United States:

“It’s our job on the House Intelligence Committee to get the facts. And the facts are that we just haven’t found any collusion. We think the Russians are bad. We think they’re up to bad things. We think the Putin regime is very dangerous for a whole host of reason.”

Not to worry, Devin. Robert Mueller is going to uncover all facts you chose to overlook or obscure.
