Barr And Pence Are Now Implicated As Suspects In The House Impeachment Inquiry

Even though the impeachment inquiry announced Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has as its main subject President Donald Trump, the investigation has begun to expand to other members of the administration, including Attorney General William Barr and Vice President Mike Pence, both of whom are now in serious jeopardy and may also wind up being impeached for their role in the unfolding Ukraine scandal.

Let’s take a closer look at how Barr and Pence have entered the spotlight:

William Barr

Thanks to the Washington Post, we now know that in intelligence officials referred Trump’s call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the Justice Department as a possible campaign finance violation. But the DOJ refused to bring any criminal charges.

You may also recall during Barr’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, the attorney general was asked by Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA):

“Has the president or anyone at the White House ever asked or suggested you open an investigation into anyone?”

A suddenly speechless Barr could only respond:

“….. Ah …..”

Harris followed up:

“Seems like something you should be able to answer.”

Barr:

“I don’t know …….”

If Barr knew about the pressure being applied to Ukraine by Trump or took part in that, he’s part of a larger conspiracy. That’s a crime and an impeachable offense.

Mike Pence

A readout of a September 18 call between Pence and Zelensky released by the administration includes this:

“The Vice President spoke by phone today with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to follow up on their productive September 1 meeting in Warsaw and discussed President Trump’s upcoming meeting with President Zelenskyy next week at the UN General Assembly in New York.

“The Vice President reiterated the United States’ unwavering commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The Vice President commended President Zelenskyy’s administration for its bold action to tackle corruption through legislative reforms, and offered full U.S. support for those efforts.”

That clearly implicates Pence as part of a larger conspiracy, too. As with Barr, Pence can be charged criminally and impeached for his role in the Ukraine scandal.

Former GOP strategist Rick Wilson has said it before and even wrote a book with the same title, and now both AG Barr and VP Pence are learning the hard way the dark wisdom in the line:

“Everything Trump touches dies.”

Barr and Pence have hitched their wagons to Donald Trump. And that means they’re just as screwed as he is.

  1. This is the most corrupt administration in my 60 year lifetime. They should never had been elected to begin with. They need to be impeached for the good of the nation.

    • Big difference between Nixon and Trump. Nixon was a seasoned attorney and very intelligent. He knew and respected the Constitution……Trump is not and he never will understand the US Constitution.

    • I thought the Senate consists of men they are acting like boys in office, I never seen men scare of another man the Republicans are cowards and are afraid of Donald Trump, I hope none of these men are rising a family. It’s not about your seat or money it’s about the constitution do your job and remove this bed bug.

    • If they impeach the whole bunch this is really gonna be a shit show. Dont forget to get rid of Kavanaugh as well .Let’s start over

  2. You are absolutely right, Leonor! I am beyond shocked to how our great country could allow this dangerous idiot and his Republican enablers to effectively divide The United States and trample on our Constitution.

  3. I am exhausted by the daily sh*t show from these people, namely the highly unstable orange one with the lemon yellow comb over. I cannot find words for what I witnesses from him today, and while standing next the the pres of Finland who’s probably mortified by what he saw today. He looked totally crazy and inept, I can only imagine what the world made of that. I have never seen anything like it before in my lifetime, the wheels are definitely coming off the stable geniuses clown car.

  4. The damage the Trump presidency has done to this Nation will take a generation of intelligent and patriotic people, to overcome. The Republican Party has lost all respect for the Law and have even suggested getting rid of the Constitution for governing. Their desperate NEED for power, has diminished the value of Liberty. We are no longer United, and probably never were. The group cheering at the Trump Rallies should alert the world to the demise of American intelligence. While so many of us sit aghast at the words flowing out of the Narcissist mouth, his audience is applauding. WHAT HAS AMERICA, become?

  5. I pray our country survives this traitor & his minions. The love of money is the root of all evil, that pretty much explains this maniac.

  6. Attached to the Constitution and ratified by all the states are Madison and Jefferson’s papers (notes and letters). In them they discuss the crime they considered worse than treason. They called it the Crime of Faction and defined faction as insurrection. Due to the severity of the punishment, they doubted it would ever happen. The punishment in question: “…immediate removal from office using the violence of force if necessary and seizure of all assets.” They don’t even mention the word “impeachment” nor what is to follow after removal from office and seizure of assets. However, anyone with half a brain realizes they won’t go free. Mitch McConnell has been the Constitutional Crime of Faction ever since the beginning of Obama’s administration if not before with the obstruction, the determination to make [in his own words] “Obama a one term president.” The refusal to even interview Obama’s nominee for SCOTUS, the ongoing obstruction to the over 400 bills passed by the House and sent to the Senate which McConnell refuses to bring up for discussion or a vote. Now, along with Trump’s obvious disdain for, lack of understanding and refusal to learn and adhere to the Constitution, we have a very good case for the Constitutional Crime of Faction. Everything Trump has done has been to undermine the Constitution and destroy any progress this country has made in the last 200 years. Those who suppose Trump by aiding and abetting him in his crimes against the Constitution and/or the nation are also guilty of the Crime of Faction {insurrection}. Starting with Pence, Giuliani, Barr, McConnell, and the members of the GOP who stormed the private deposition of a witness, the list keeps getting longer with those who encouraged and colluded with Trump in committing his crimes—especially his family members working the White House. They need according to Madison and Jefferson’s papers, “…immediate removal from office using violent force if necessary and the seizure of all assets…” This entire administration represents an insurrection against the government, the Constitution and the people of this nation. Trump’s admitted desire to become “… dictator for life. It sounds like a good idea. We should try it here…” gives the impression the GOP is really to stage some sort of coup.
Madison and Jefferson do not even mention the words impeachment or trial. Do you need to go through all of that to put down and insurrection?

  7. [Sorry I should have proofread what I wrote. I see a number of obvious errors. I hope they do not deter people from understanding what I intended.

  8. I think Barr is the most dangerous man in America, and Mike Pence is a weak guy trying to stay invisible, so he can keep his job and maybe run for President some day. That said, the piece entitled “Barr And Pence Are Now Implicated As Suspects In The House Impeachment inquiry” yields no evidence that either Barr or Pence are at risk in the ongoing investigation. I have watched the whole inquiry so far and the guys in trouble or potentially in trouble are Trump, Giuliani, Mulvaney, and Pompeo.
