Think back to the first Presidential debate. Remember all that sniffing Donald Trump did during the course of the evening and how erratic he seemed as the debate went on? Some have suggested Trump was amped up on cocaine. And while there’s certainly no proof of that, it didn’t stop the Bette Midler from expertly trolling the Orange Menace on Twitter, posting:

Trump suffers a Twitter meltdown in the wee hours of AM. You gotta stop doing coke after 4PM or you'll be up all night!

A little while later, Midler took aim at a very touchy subject for Trump: His falling poll numbers:

Of course, Trump’s many online acolytes couldn’t resist defending their savior, but they sound more than a bit desperate when they do so:
