BREAKING: New Poll Shows Donald Trump May Lose Texas–TEXAS!

It’s safe to say that Texas is one of the most conservative and deeply red states in the entire country. You would think that the Lone Star state is safely in the corner of Donald Trump, but a new poll shows that to be far from true.

Public Policy Polling (PPP) has just released a new poll which shows Trump with a thin six-point lead over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, 44 to 38 percent. Libertarian Gary Johnson was the choice of 6 percent of those surveyed, and Green Party candidate Jill Stein had 2 percent.

Both John McCain in 2008 and Mitt Romney in 2012 won Texas by double digits. McCain won by 12 percent; Romney by 16 percent.

How bad are things for the GOP with Trump leading the ticket? PPP says while Texas may remain red for now, the very near future will see the state change to blue. One positive sign can be found in the poll results which show that  Trump’s advantage in Texas is “based entirely” on a wide lead over Clinton among seniors, 63 percent to 33 percent.

Watch out, Republicans. The blue wave is coming, even to Texas.
