Well, it certainly appears that Chris Christie doesn’t want any teachers to vote for him, doesn’t it?
The New Jersey Governor and 2016 GOP Presidential candidate said in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper that the national teacher’s union deserves a “punch in the face” because he claims it has become the most destructive force in America’s education system.
Tapper reminded Christie that he had once advised people to punch bullies “in the face” during his first term as governor. So Tapper’s next question was:
“At the national level, who deserves a punch in the face?”
“Oh, the national teachers union. They’re not for education for our children, they’re for greater membership, greater benefits, greater pay for their members.”
See, Christie is trying out anti-union Scott Walker as the first Republican debate approaches on August 6. Also, Christie has always been and always will be against teachers because he thinks that he can better decide what students need to learn because he’s such a genius himself.
The Governor, who is currently under investigation and may well be indicted by a federal grand jury for his actions in the Bridgegate incident, added:
“And they are the single most destructive force in public education in America. I’ve been saying that since 2009. I’ve got the scars to show it, but I’m never going to stop saying it because they never change their stripes.”
Neither do you, Chris. You’ve been a blowhard asshat bully since you first appeared on the political landscape, and you only get more obnoxious with each passing day.
Make no mistake, Chris Christie has zero chance of winning the GOP nomination. He will not win it in 2016, and he will not ever win it, no matter what. Right now he’s just taking the final laps before his soon-to-be national insignificance becomes official. And like most bullies, he intends to go out slagging everyone in his sights.
Goodbye, Chris Christie. We never liked you, and we like you even less the more we see you,
