Desperation Play: Jeb! Has Mommy Make An Attack Ad To Fight Big Bad Trump

How can we tell that the Jeb Bush for President campaign is in its final death throes? By the ads they are now putting out in an attempt to appear the tiniest bit relevant.

But the newest ad from the Bush brain trust will only heighten the perception that Bush is in desperation mode and cannot win the nomination short of a miracle handed down from God Himself.

Tired of being beaten up by Donald Trump, Jebbie has decided to get Mama Bush involved in what has turned out to be an outright fiasco of a campaign. Take a look at this ad and then we’ll do some analysis:

Now, I love Barbara Bush. Of all the Bush family, she strikes me as the most grounded, the most rational, the most progressive. And let’s not forget that she once said we didn’t need another Bush in the White House. She is indeed a very wise woman.

We have here an ad in which this great woman tells us all these things about her son:

“Rather than talking about how popular they are or how great they are, he’s doing it because he sees a huge need and it’s not being filled by anybody.

“Of all the people running, he seems to be the one who can solve the problems. I think he’ll be a great president.”

Jeb himself may also have spoken to just how far his campaign has fallen, telling a group of supporters at a town hall in New Hampshire just yesterday:

“I’m sure my brother is going to be campaigning by my side, all that stuff is going to happen, but I got to win this.

“People, there are people who think it’s a little odd for a third Bush to be president of the United States. The expectations on me are higher because of that, fine, you know who has higher expectations than the conventional wisdom? Me.”

When you start talking about campaigning with your brother, who also happens to be one of the most unpopular ex-Presidents in recent memory, you are indeed nearing the end of the road for your campaign.
