No need to apologize if you missed the big Trump rally Saturday in Florida. Most of us with lives and good sense did. But in doing so, seems we also missed the coronation of a new star in the Donald’s world. His name is Gene Huber.
During the rally, the alleged president called Huber up on stage and had Huber say a few words. Oddly, Huber already had a prepared speech, which would certainly make you think he was an arranged plant. But should you raise that issue with a devoted Trumpkin, they would no doubt shout “FAKE NEWS!” and storm off because you managed to discover the bullshit nature of the Huber incident.
After the rally was over, Huber was interviewed on CNN and said that he has a somewhat…unusual routine he goes through each and every day: He salutes and talks to a cardboard cutout of the so-called head of state. Because that’s not the least bit weird or creepy. Here’s what Huber said to millions on national TV:
“I’ve got a 6-foot cardboard box of President Trump in my house and I salute that every single day. I tell him, ‘Mr. President, I pray for your safety today.’”
He’s kidding, right? Nope. Take a look at Twitter:

Huber, who is a car salesman in Florida (because car salesmen are soooo trustworthy and soooo honest, right?), added that Trump had a special message he whispered to him onstage:
“You’re great. And he said that he loves me.”
He loves you? Does that mean after the rally he grabbed you by the crotch and told you he had “plans” for you, Gene?
Social media quickly lit up with commentary on Gene Huber and his brush with mediocrity:
Gene Huber's cardboard cutout of Donald Trump is more diplomatic, presidental, and legitimate of a leader than Donald Trump is.

I shudder to think what other things #GeneHuber does to his cardboard Trump

I bet if someone shined a blacklight on that cardboard Trump it would light up like the 4th of July with #GeneHuber "samples"

other than using his middle name in all exchanges, gene huber exhibits every characteristic of a deranged, blockbuster-grade, lunatic https://t.co/QBvBy6K5nB

Why does it seem that Trump’s fans are even stranger than the asshole they so slavishy worship? Is that a requirement?
