Ever since the story broke in The Atlantic suggesting that President Donald Trump had called American veterans who died for their country “suckers” and “loser,” the White House has been in damage control mode, desperately trying to discredit the report, even though it has now been confirmed by other media outlets, including Trump TV, aka Fox News.
So perhaps it should come as no surprise that members of the president’s family would also try to defend him, mainly because they’re afraid if he loses in November, they’ll all be charged with a litany of crimes, tried in court, and sent to prison for a great many years.
And sure enough, we have Eric Trump, who is supposedly the executive vice president of the Trump Organization, going on Twitter to outright demand that reporters who broke the story about the president slurring vets apologize. And he based his demand on an article from Breitbart, which is well-known as the festering syphilitic pustule of right-wing media that is so unreliable they once had Steve Bannon as their executive chairman.
Eric cited the Breitbart article which alleges that a top aide to former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly denied Trump had ever used the words “suckers” or “losers”:
Does @realDonaldTrump get an apology? https://t.co/lMbfNzDb9C

Really, Eric? Donald Trump gets an apology because one guy disputes what his former boss said? Did this guy hear every word Trump said? Was this person present for every single conversation the president had with every person he encountered? That seems highly unlikely.
But, since Eric asked a direct question, he got the response from other Twitter users. But he probably won’t like their answers:
No, because Breitbart is a rightwing rag full of fake news. If John Kelly says so, perhaps. His aide? Not on your life.

We SAW the way he treated Lt. Col. Vindman both by retaliation and tweeting. We HEARD how he treated Senator John McCain and SAW that he had to be talked into lowering the flags. His niece told everyone how he treated his brother. So NO.#TrumpFailure #TrumpHatesOurVeterans

Zach Fuentes was given $3 million by the feds in May to supply faulty masks to the Navajos. Seems like he’s still trump’s payroll

It is what it is: no I take no responsibility: I never heard of him: I’ve had my picture taken with a lot of people: if Ivanka wasn’t my daughter I’d probably date her: The dead soldiers are losers : let your Dad apologize to us

Do the military personnel get an apology for the degrading comments he made? There are four high ranking officials confirming the statement

No. Do Americans get an apology for the needless deaths of Americans due to your daddy’s negligence? Do our military and veterans get an apology for the disrespect and not speaking out about bounties because he’s bought and owned by Putin?

Nice try, Eric, but you and your father lie so much that we no longer believe a damn thing you say.
