Ex-NSA Analyst: White House ‘Targeting Journalists’ With Assistance Of Russian Intel

Donald Trump hates the press. With the exception of the brainless twerps at Fox News, Trump considers the news media an adversary, out to get him and determined to make him look ridiculous. As if he needs any help in that regard.

Since he took the oath of office, the alleged president has all but openly declared war on the press. But it now appears he’s taken the next step and actually begun pursuing aggressive and possibly illegal measures against reporters.

Former NSA analyst John Schindler said Tuesday morning on Twitter that the White House is now actively colluding with Russian intelligence agencies to “target journalists.”

Here’s what Schindler posted:

Schindler has not provided any details to his claim, but keep in mind this is the same White House which recently tried to strike at Politico reporter Alex Isenstadt by planting a false story that wrongly accused him of laughing at the death of a Navy SEAL killed during a failed raid in Yemen ordered by Trump.

Trump also told a group of conservatives:

“The fake news doesn’t tell the truth. It doesn’t represent the people, it doesn’t and never will represent the people, and we’re going to do something about it.”

Since all evidence points to Trump and numerous members of the administration being in bed with the Russians, it’s not difficult to believe that they would attempt to utilize Russian intelligence information and agents in order to settle the score with reporters they feel have wronged them by daring to report the truth.

But if Trump and his minions think their attack on the First Amendment will work, they have quite obviously underestimated the resolve of those who make reporting the truth their lives.
