Did Donald Trump Have A Nervous Breakdown In 1990? Was He In A Mental Hospital?

If, like me, you’ve questioned the sanity of Donald Trump, then something suggested earlier this week by reporter Kurt Eichenwald suddenly takes on a greater relevancy: Eichenwald tweeted out and then deleted this choice nugget of information on Tuesday:

“I believe Trump was institutionalized in a mental hospital for a nervous breakdown in 1990, which is why he won’t release medical records.”

It should be noted that Eichenwald cited no supporting information, and the fact that he later deleted the tweet tells us that he must have realized he couldn’t back up his claim. But there’s a much larger point to be made in consideration of what Trump has been doing over the past several years: Lying and claiming that President Obama might not be an American citizen. This is how rumors become half-facts, and then conspiracies which are perpetuated and magnified on sites such as Breitbart, WorldNetDaily, and InfoWars, where the right-wing nutjobs gather to trade their fantastical yarns.

Back in 2016, in the heat of the election, Donald Trump stood before the media at his hotel in Washington, D.C. and announced:

“President Barack Obama was born in the United States. Period.”

This announcement came years after Trump first alleged that President Obama had been born in Kenya and was therefore ineligible to serve as head of state.

No apology was offered by Trump to the President, and he even went so far as to try and blame the existence of the birther movement on Hillary Clinton, yet another lie he has tossed around with zero proof over the years.

So, did Donald Trump have a nervous breakdown in 1990? I’m betting he did. Do I have any proof to base this on? Nope, and using the same logic Trump does, I don’t need any. I can just publish this article and let it float out into the internet where it will be shared and repeated thousands, perhaps millions of times. Because hey, why not?

If you’re as sick of Trump’s lies and hate speech as I am, then you know he deserves to be slagged just as much as he has tried to smear others for no better reason than his own personal amusement and to draw attention to himself.

I would also like Donald Trump to deny this: He is still on medication to prevent recurring psychotic episodes. In one of these episodes, he convinced himself he was qualified to be President of the United States. Clearly, the man is disturbed.

Donald, we await your denials and the other lies you will be telling in the days ahead. Don’t forget to take your meds.
