Sean Hannity is scared to death he’s about to be booted off Fox News, but he’s not willing to take any of the blame if that winds up happening.
In recent weeks, Hannity has been spinning one of his patented batshit crazy conspiracy theories regarding the death of former DNC staffer Seth Rich. Rich’s family has begged Hannity to stop trying to paint their son’s tragic death as some kind of nefarious plot, and Fox News has also retracted its original report on the death of Rich, issuing a statement which read:
“The article was not initially subjected to the high degree of editorial scrutiny we require for all our reporting. Upon appropriate review, the article was found not to meet those standards.”
But now Hannity is facing a boycott of advertisers on his failing evening show, and he’s pissed off about it, blaming everyone but Elvis for his plight. And on Wednesday morning, his frustration boiled over on Twitter, making him look like the the babbling, paranoid man-child he will always be:
Liberal Fascism. Mmfa is targeting my advertisers to silence my voice. They hope to get me fired. Rush, O'Reilly, Beck, Imus, & now me.

Why do they not go after @nbc hosts or @CNN hosts? Serious questions will now be raised on funding, tax status, and political agenda. https://t.co/CLODSzUotY

Why didn't they go after HBO Real Time? Colbert? Simple, MMFA only wants to silence conservatives. Who funds them? Who are political friends https://t.co/iEkj9i7xWl

How much $ total has Soros given to MMFA? https://t.co/ZZfbNW3z2d

You gotta love how Hannity always goes after the same right-wing targets: George Soros, Media Matters, the “liberal” media, even though he and Fox News take money from all kinds of extremist conservative groups and love to kiss Donald Trump’s ass despite evidence that President Trump very likely sold his country out to Russia. When you do it in the name of predatory capitalism, apparently that absolves you of any sin in Sean’s fevered brain. It’s all about the bottom line and the top dollar for Hannity, and if you oppose him, you’re the bad guy.
But let’s be clear and admit what we’ve long suspected: The only difference between Hannity and Alex Jones or others in the tinfoil hat wearing brigade is that Hannity happens to have a show on Fox News. Although that could change any day now.
