Former Friend Reveals: Melania Is Now The Subject Of Three Criminal Investigations

First Lady Melania Trump is currently the subject of at least three criminal fraud investigations, according to a former friend and adviser who is cooperating with prosecutors.

The Hill reports that Stephanie Winston Wolkoff make the revelation of the criminal probes of the first lady during an interview on “Good Morning America”:

“‘I’m working with three different prosecutors, and it’s taken over my life,’ Stephanie Winston Wolkoff told ABC News in an interview Monday, referring to the U.S. attorney’s office in the Southern District of New York and local attorneys general in New Jersey and Washington, D.C.”

Of particular interest to investigators is the 2016 Trump inaugural committee, which is suspected of having diverted millions of dollars to friends and political allies of President Donald Trump. There have also been reports that the president, first lady, and Ivanka Trump might have personally profited by steering money into properties owned by the Trump Organization, which is currently being run by the president’s two eldest sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric.

Just last year, ProPublica reported that Ivanka had personally negotiated the rates charged for using event space at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C.:

“During the planning, Ivanka Trump, the president-elect’s eldest daughter and a senior executive with the Trump Organization, was involved in negotiating the price the hotel charged the 58th Presidential Inaugural Committee for venue rentals.”

Wolkoff has written a book entitled Melania and Me, which hits bookshelves today.

Asked if she has evidence such as tapes that would prove the claims she’s made about potential crimes committed during the Trump inaugural, Wolkoff responded:

“I can back up everything that’s in the book 100 percent.”

Additionally, Wolkoff noted that she feels she was “thrown under the bus” when investigators began sniffing around possible improprieties by the Trumps and turned into “the cover girl for the inauguration shenanigans.”

If indeed Melania or any of the Trumps engaged in financial fraud, they could be facing significant legal exposure, including prison time, restitution, and charges at both the federal and state level.

LOCK THEM ALL UP!
