Game Changer — Robert Mueller Has Every Text Message Sent By The Trump Campaign

In any criminal investigation, nothing is more valuable than tangible, physical evidence. Anyone who has ever been part of trying to solve a crime will tell you that.

When it comes to the probe being conducted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller into a possible conspiracy between members of the 2016 Trump campaign and Russia, Mueller just struck gold.

You’ve probably seen former Trump campaign aide Michael Caputo on cable news. He’s always willing to make an appearance and defend Trump no matter what. And that helped make Caputo a target of Mueller’s team of investigators.

Caputo was recently interviewed by the Mueller team, and not long afterwards he again showed up on television — Fox News this time — looking like he’d seen a ghost, telling host Martha MacCallum:

“They have all the documents that were produced. They’ve got further documentation from people who worked outside the campaign — their emails, their texts. They have the entire campaign’s texts.”

During that same appearance, Caputo also sent out a warning flare to the White House, noting that Mueller:

“[Knows] more about the campaign than any one person does who worked there.”

As for exactly what he was asked by Mueller’s investigators, Caputo made it sound as if he had merely been called to verify what was already known to the special counsel:

“The Mueller investigation really wasn’t trying to find something. Every question they asked, they already have the answer to.”

In case you were wondering, Caputo himself has deep ties to Russia, as reported by Newsweek recently:

“Caputo knows Russia well. In the 1990s, he advised then-Russian President Boris Yeltsin on election law and opened a public relations firm in Russia to help Western companies transition there. In the early 2000s, he did work for Gazprom Media, which supported President Vladimir Putin.”

So Caputo — who was on the Trump campaign team — is a made man when it comes to the Kremlin, much like former campaign manager Paul Manafort and his business partner, Rick Gates, who is now cooperating with the Mueller team. Why did Trump need so many people with ties to Russia if there was “no collusion” as he maintains?

If Mueller now has every text message sent by the Trump team during the election, he also has a major piece of evidence that he needs to make his case. That means it’s game, set, and match for the special counsel, who must be chuckling deep inside whenever Trump whines about it all being a “witch hunt.”
