GOP Congressman Shoots Selfie Video Inside Auschwitz For Purpose Of Attacking Islam

If you’ve ever visited the memorial to the millions killed by the Nazis at the Auschwitz death camp, then you know it’s a solemn, quiet place meant for silent reflection, and most certainly not the place to make a video.

But that didn’t stop Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) from choosing the gas chambers at Auschwitz as the setting for a video he made and posted online in which he declared:

“This is why homeland security must be squared away, why our military must be invincible.”

When the video came to light, the Auschwitz‑Birkenau Memorial and Museum immediately sent out these messages on Twitter:

Just last month, Higgins, a former police officer, stirred up controversy when he said on Facebook that “all of Christendom… is at war with Islamic horror” and advocated killing any “radicalized Islamic suspect.” Higgins also wrote:

“Every conceivable measure should be engaged to hunt them dow. Hunt them, identify them, and kill them. Kill them all.”

In the video Higgins made at Auschwitz, the GOP Congressman looks into the camera and warns:

“The world’s a smaller place now than it was in World War II. The United States is more accessible to terror like this, horror like this. It’s hard to walk away from gas chambers and ovens without a very sober feeling of commitment, unwavering commitment, to make damn sure that the United States of America is protected from the evils of the world.”

It’s quite obvious that Higgins is a disgusting, self-promoting piece of crap who thinks nothing of the millions who died at the hands of Hitler and his minions, but it’s also clear that he doesn’t even understand the danger posed by the American president of his own party. The biggest threat the United States faces is not from Islam, it’s a man working at the highest levels of government to turn this country into a fascist police state like the one we helped destroy in Germany decades ago.

So, Congressman Higgins, what do you plan to do for your next video? Tap dance on John F. Kennedy’s grave?
