Just minutes after it was announced that former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort had been indicted by a federal grand jury and Manafort had surrendered to the FBI, Trump supporters were sent a blast email from the president’s son, Eric, begging for money:

The lines most likely to make you roll your eyes and that also prove how the Trumps will now be attempting to scam money out of gullible Trumpkins are these:
“There’s a new opposition against my father and this Administration every day. But as a loyal supporter, I know you know the truth.
“Please make a contribution of just $1 to help us crush our goal this month.”
And yet, Papa Trump tried to pretend the Manafort indictment was no big deal. On Twitter, the president posted this:

If that’s the case, then why does Eric need to be begging for money? Trump himself has said he plans to help pay the legal bills of friends and associates who are also being investigated, though he hasn’t actually forked over any of that cash yet. Based on his past lies about giving to charities and then reneging, it seems safe to bet he’s spinning yet another lie out of classic Trumpian bullshit.
The Trump family is nothing but a bunch of pathetic grifters. If and when any of them wind up doing prison time, don’t be surprised to see them begging their brain-dead supporters for money to spend on commissary items.
