Is There Anything Trump Is More Sensitive About Than His Hair? Yes, There Is–This!

Donald Trump may like to pretend that he’s brimming with self-confidence and sure of himself, but as many reporters have found out over the years, he is somewhat defensive whenever anyone asks about or criticizes that helmet of hair atop his head. Some have said it’s got to be a toupee, others have commented that it must take hours for him to get that hairdo just right before he appears in public.

Turns out the hair is real, even though it looks fake as hell. Trump even proved it at a campaign rally last year:

So now that we’ve solved that Mystery of the Ages, did you know there’s something Trump is even more sensitive about than the mop on his inflated head? Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter found out there was indeed. Carter once wrote that Trump was a “short-fingered vulgarian,” and ever since the Donald has been sending notes to Carter in which he attempts to defend his small fingers. Here’s what else Carter has to share with us in the voting public:

“Just to drive him a little bit crazy, I took to referring to him as a ‘short-fingered vulgarian’ in the pages of Spy magazine. That was more than a quarter of a century ago. To this day, I receive the occasional envelope from Trump. There is always a photo of him—generally a tear sheet from a magazine. On all of them he has circled his hand in gold Sharpie in a valiant effort to highlight the length of his fingers. I almost feel sorry for the poor fellow because, to me, the fingers still look abnormally stubby. The most recent offering arrived earlier this year, before his decision to go after the Republican presidential nomination. Like the other packages, this one included a circled hand and the words, also written in gold Sharpie: ‘See, not so short!’ I sent the picture back by return mail with a note attached, saying, ‘Actually, quite short.’ Which I can only assume gave him fits.”

Well, social media being what it is these days, a hashtag has now blossomed on Twitter in order to mock Trump’s tiny fingers, and it’s known as #Trumpfingers. And here’s some especially good postings from Twitter users who wanted to knock down Trump a few notches:

As you can see, if we intend to “Make America Great Again” as Trump is always urging us to, we’re gonna need someone who has normal fingers. Yet another reason Trump is just wrong for America.
