Latest Electoral Projection Shows Clinton With LANDSLIDE Numbers

The University of Virginia’s prediction for how the lay of the land stacks up in the 2016 Presidential election is called the Crystal Ball, and it’s run by one of the most respected men in the business, Professor Larry Sabato. And Sabato is now predicting that Hillary Clinton is already well beyond the threshold of 270 electoral votes she needs to be the next President of the United States.

Based on the latest numbers out of all 50 states, Sabato gives Clinton 348 electoral votes. Trump gets 190. In other words, it looks like a landslide.

Perhaps more importantly, the new Crystal Ball forecast says Clinton has 273 electoral votes from states which are listed as “safe” or “likely Democratic.”

The only states where it appears Trump still has a chance to win are in Iowa, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. But even if Trump does win those three swing states, it would still not give him enough to reach the magical number of 270.

Also, the latest iteration of the Sabato map includes no toss-up states whatsoever. It counts 348 electoral votes coming from states that are safe Democrat, likely Democrat or leaning Democrat, and only 190 that are safe Republican, likely Republican or leaning Republican.

Looks like it could be a very long night indeed for the GOP when the votes are counted on November 8.
