Majority Of Americans Say Trump Has Accomplished NOTHING (POLL)

Donald Trump loves to brag about all of the things he’s accomplished during his first year in office. Back in June, he remarked:

“Never has there been a president, with few exceptions — case of FDR, he had a major depression to handle — who has passed more legislation and who has done more things than what we’ve done.”

What legislation has he passed? None. But as with all things Trumpian, reality rarely matches the fevered delusions of the Orange Menace.

new poll suggests that Americans can see right through Trump’s BS, with 65 percent saying that Trump’s accomplishments thus far range between “little or nothing” to “not much.”

The ABC News/Washington Post poll also asked respondents to rate Trump’s temperament as president. 66 percent said Trump “lacks the personality and temperament” it takes to be an effective president. Sixty-five percent of respondents also said they don’t think Trump is honest and trustworthy.

While Trump has long painted himself as a champion for the “forgotten men and women” of the country, 62 percent now said Trump “doesn’t understand their problems,” while only 55 percent said he has brought the change to Washington he promised as a candidate for the White House.

Trump’s most enthusiastic supporters are also less than pleased with his performance so far. 63 percent of conservatives said they approve of the job Trump is doing. A year ago, Trump’s approval rating with that same group was 81 percent.

With the Russia investigation now yielding indictments and putting added pressure on the administration, it seems likely that Trump’s numbers will continue to crater in the coming months.
