Melania Trump’s First Speech Since The RNC Proves She’s Still A Word Thief

Melania Trump gave her first speech since the Republican National Convention today in Pennsylvania, and much like her RNC speech, this one also contained lines lifted from another person.

No doubt you recall that Mrs. Trump cribbed lines from a speech that had been given in 2008 by Michelle Obama as part of her speech at the convention, and today she stole from her husband’s second wife, Marla Maples.

Yair Rosenberg, a writer for Tablet Mag pointed out on Twitter that a phrase from Trump’s speech actually came from Maples. The line?

“If you could dream it, you could become it.”

Well, Donald, you wanted her to speak on your behalf. Are the results what you expected?
