Member Of House Intel Committee Says Of Russiagate: ‘People Are Going To Jail’ (VIDEO)

If we’re honest, those of us who think Donald Trump is an illegitimate president often wonder: Will Special Counsel Robert Mueller be able to bring down this criminal enterprise masquerading as an administration?

Based on what a member of the House Intelligence Committee said Saturday, the answer would seem to be an emphatic yes.

Congressman Denny Heck (D-WA) told MSNBC host Alex Witt on Saturday:

“Look, I’m going to take you back to something I said, I think on your program in the spring, that was a little controversial at the time, but I’m going to reiterate it today: people are going to go to jail. People are going to go to jail and, in fact, when I said that, I came in for some criticism for it. But now of course we’ve seen several indictments.”

Heck then added there will be more indictments from the special counsel’s office in the near future:

“I’m also going to go on record today and say additional people are going to be indicted. I’ve also said, and will reiterate today, that where there’s smoke there’s fire, and there’s so much smoke you can’t see the hand in front of your face.”

When the interview turned to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Heck made it clear he has no respect whatever for the chief federal law enforcement officer:

“He is suffering from some of the most profoundly selective amnesia of any human being I’ve ever met in my life. He seems just never to quite remember the things that might incriminate him.”

And Congressman Heck also suggested that Trump may be on the verge of firing one or more members of his cabinet:

“The other thing that I would say about him (Sessions) is that he’s clearly on the firing watch list,. In Washington, D.C., there’s kind of like this inside game of who’s going to get fired first: [Secretary of State] Rex Tillerson or Jeff Sessions.”

Sounds like things are about to get even more interesting.
