While most of the attention being paid to the subject of sexual assault involves Hollywood figures of would-be senators from Alabama, let’s not forget that the debate actually began when President Trump was running for office a year ago. That’s when we saw the infamous Access Hollywood tape on which Trump proudly told host Billy Bush:

“Yeah, that’s her, with the gold. I’ve got to use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her. You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. I just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.

“Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.”

While those comments were disgusting enough, let’s not forget that Trump has been accused of sexually assaulting and harassing dozens of women over the years. And now those women are the subject of a new video.

A documentary short from Brave New Films compiles the recollections of 16 women who have accused Trump of acting like a pig. As Brave New Films founder Robert Greenwald notes in a statement that accompanies the video:

“As a society, we are finally beginning to hold powerful men to account for abusing their positions and influence to harass and abuse women. But this movement for accountability will ring hollow if it doesn’t apply to the most powerful, and public, sexual harasser in America—the president.

“In the post-Harvey Weinstein (or Roy Moore, Louis C.K., etc.) world we live in, we cannot ignore 16 women who over the course of decades in a broad range of situations encountered the same pattern of manipulation, misogyny, harassment and abuse.

“We owe it to these women, and to all women, to hold President Trump to account.”
