The Donald Trump for President campaign is imploding. Trump is now in permanent free fall, going around the country and slagging fellow members of the Republican Party and saying that every woman who accuses him of being a pervert is a liar and he may wind up suing them and the media outlets that report their allegations.
And now we have a once loyal ally and advisor to Trump, Newt Gingrich, openly criticizing the GOP nominee for his fiery comments regarding House Speaker Paul Ryan.
During an appearance on the Fox Business show Mornings with Maria Bartiromo, the host asked the former House Speaker about Trump being so critical of Speaker Ryan:
“But let’s talk about the current Speaker of the House. I mean you were in this seat. I want to know what you would be doing at this moment, because Paul Ryan says he’s continuing to go slam Trump for his — I mean he’s being slammed for his wavering support of Trump.”
Bartiromo then played a video clip of Trump angrily telling a crowd at one of his rallies:
“Wouldn’t you think that Paul Ryan would call and say, ‘Good going?’ In front of just about the largest audience for a second night debate in the history of the country. So you’d think that [they would] say, ‘Great going, Don, let’s go. Let’s beat this crook. She’s a crook. Let’s beat her. We’ve got to stop him.’ No, he doesn’t do that. There’s a whole deal going on there so — I mean there’s a whole deal going on and we’re going to figure it out. I always figure things out, but there’s a whole sinister deal going on.”
After the clip had run, Bartiromo inquired:
“What’s the deal, Speaker?”
Gingrich did not mince his words or hold back with his response:
“Look, look. First of all, let me just say about Trump, who I admire and I’ve try to help as much as I can. There’s a big Trump and a little Trump. The little Trump is frankly pathetic. I mean, he’s mad over not getting a phone call?”
Yikes! Gingrich just called Trump pathetic! And for perhaps the first and only time, I agree completely with Newt. Donald Trump is pathetic, a pathological liar, the most thin skinned douchebag on the planet. He’s also completely unfit to be President of the United States.
How’s that for bipartisanship?
