NRA Spokesperson: ‘Hands And Feet’ Are Just As Dangerous As Guns

Less than 48 hours after a deranged man shot and killed 59 people and wounded another 500 who were attending a country music festival in Las Vegas, the National Rifle Association (NRA) has finally commented on the massacre, and it’s even more offensive than you could have imagined.

Dana Loesch of The Blaze, who is also a national spokesperson for the NRA and makes frequent appearances on Fox News, saw a press release from the American College of Physicians which said that gun violence is a public health issue and called for a ban of automatic and semiautomatic weapons. So she tweeted out:

Then, shortly after The Hill did a story on the press release from the ACP, Loesch again used her flawed logic to try and twist the issue to the benefit of her paymasters at the NRA:

With that, Loesch set off a firestorm on social media, and she got plenty of resistance from others on Twitter:

It would be nice to think we might one day be able to have a rational discussion in this country about sensible gun laws such as banning semi-automatic rifles, but thanks to people like Dana Loesch and the NRA, that seems unlikely. They’re far too busy swimming in money from the gun manufacturers as blood puddles up around their ankles.
