Racist Woman Accuses Brazilians Of Being Terrorists (Video)

The new epithet being used by anyone who doesn’t like how another person looks seems to be the word “terrorist.”

A perfect example of this played out recently in Pompano Beach, Florida, where Brazilian filmmakers from the YouTube channel “UH-OH MONKEY” were accosted by a racist woman who pulled over to the side of the road when she saw them filming and fired off one of the most hateful tirades you can imagine. The UH-OH MONKEY staffers   posted this comment on their channel and Facebook page:
“A racist woman mistakes two Brazilians as Terrorists. While filming a YouTube comedy skit in front of a local airport, a racist woman stopped her vehicle on the side of the road and started calling my friend and I terrorists. Being that I’m an aspiring filmmaker, I pulled out my camera and started recording the incident. I served the U.S Air Force and I honestly never thought this would happen to me. It’s disgusting how ignorant and blind people are nowadays. People like her need to be shunned out of society, because that’s the mentality that keeps us from progressing. SHARE this, we need this negativity shunned!”
Not just shunned, but condemned in the strongest possible terms. Just take a look at the video and tell me: Does anyone deserve to be verbally assaulted in this way? Also, the woman can barely pronounce some of the words she is firing off in her verbal salvo.

Yes, this woman is stupid, ignorant, and blatantly racist. But she is emblematic of a larger force we see taking hold across the country. From Donald Trump to Ted Cruz, suddenly it’s copacetic to just open one’s mouth and let loose with hateful, hurtful comments. As a writer, I am an absolutist on the First Amendment and freedom of speech, but as the old saying reminds us all:

“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.”
