Robert Mueller’s Russian Indictments Expose The Secret Trump Fears Most

The indictments handed down Friday by a grand jury empaneled by Special Counsel Robert Mueller in Washington, D.C., are very bad news for anyone who played even the smallest role in the conspiracy surrounding the 2016 presidential election.

In announcing the indictments of 13 Russian nationals and entities, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein had this to say:

“The defendants allegedly conducted what they called information warfare against the United States, with the stated goal of spreading distrust towards the candidates and the political system in general.”

That’s a legalese way of saying that the Russians engaged in the rigging of the 2016 election. And any Americans who were a part of that effort are also likely included on still-sealed indictments on file at the federal courthouse in the nation’s capitol.

But there’s a larger issue that has to be taken into consideration: The total illegitimacy of Donald Trump’s presidency.

Over the past year, it’s been speculated that Trump is unwilling to even consider the possibility of Russia helping him win in his match-up with Hillary Clinton. Why? Because that would give the appearance that he shouldn’t be in the Oval Office. It’s the Big Lie that Trump cannot afford to have brought out into the light. But now Mueller has ripped the cover off for all to see.

Trump’s fear must be at a fever-pitch right about now.

Trump will no doubt try to downplay today’s indictments, but he cannot hope to erase this latest development from people’s minds or the history books.

Buried within the Friday indictments, CNN notes, is some very damaging information for the White House:

“‘Beginning as early as 2014, the Russian organization Internet Research Agency began operations to interfere with the US political system, including the 2016 elections’, according to the indictment.

“‘The defendants allegedly posed as US persons, created false US personas, and operated social media pages and groups designed to attract US audiences, the indictment reads.'”

Yes, the Russians did indeed try every dirty trick to guarantee that Trump was elected, and that alone places a permanent taint on this administration.

The Trump presidency has now entered its final, downward spiral. Friday’s indictments have sealed the Donald’s fate.
