If there’s a National Rifle Association (NRA) convention, you can bet that washed-up rocker Ted Nugent will show up and shoot off his foul mouth. And he did not disappoint on Sunday when he spoke, giving a speech entitled, “Ted Nugent: 2016 Election Do or Die for America and Freedom.”

Nugent directed much of his hate speech at Democratic contender Bernie Sanders, whom he accused of “preaching communism.” Nugent said 58,000 American soldiers died in Vietnam fighting against communism, and he then added:

“Hey Bernie: eat shit and die. [Put] that on MSNBC!”

Nugent also urged his fellow ammosexual gun nuts to get behind Donald Trump:

“Don’t give me this ‘He’s not your favorite guy’ crap.

“You don’t deny your dying child life-saving medicine because you don’t like the captain and his boat. You get on the damn boat and you get the medicine to the child, and then you fix the captain.”

We could try fixing you, Ted, but it would be a pointless exercise because you are broken beyond all repair. Or as they say in the military you are so fond of praising but saw fit to lie your way out of service in when your country called, FUBAR.

Ted then added this bit of political advice:

“Do you know what I’m saying? So we need to elect him and then stay on him.”

Good old Ted Nugent. He’s always reliable when you need a laugh and want to gauge just how batshit crazy the Republican Party has gone in recent years. There was a time, 30 to 40 years ago, when Nugent wouldn’t have been welcome in the GOP. But now he’s mainstream, along with his new buddy Donald Trump. They deserve each other, and they deserve to lose big when November 8 rolls around.
