Right-wing reactionary commentator Ann Coulter is a reprehensible excuse of a so-called human being, and her primary goal seems to be spreading hatred for anyone who dares to come to the United States as an immigrant.

Coulter and others like her on the far right of the Republican party were partially satisfied this week when Donald Trump announced he’d be sending as many as 4,000 National Guard troops to the U.S.-Mexico border until he gets money for his precious wall.

During an appearance on Lars Larson’s radio show, Coulter was asked if the military forces were “a start in the right direction.” She said she had her doubts:

“I don’t think so — what are they going to do, shoot the illegals? I mean, both Obama and Bush did this too. No, there’s a reason the chant was ‘we want a wall,’ we don’t want to use the military to process illegals and let them into the country.”

Larson commented he thought the appearance of troops on the border would serve as a “visual deterrent,” but again, Coulter said she wasn’t so sure:

“I don’t know, we’ll see. If I were an illegal —- I mean, unless they’re going to shoot one and send a message to the rest, as Voltaire’s line in Candide is, ‘We hang one to encourage the others’ — if you shoot one to encourage the others, maybe they’ll learn, but otherwise, we’ll see, we’ll see.”

Yes, that’s right: Ann Coulter just called for the shooting of those coming across the southern border because it might send a message. What kind of heartless monster resides in the bony carcass of this woman?

Rest assured, even if a wall happens to be built, xenophobic extremists like Ann Coulter still won’t be happy. Next, they’ll want to target potential migrants to the U.S. in their home countries and kill them before they even pack their bags.

It’d be nice if we could deport Ann Coulter back to whatever her family’s native home is, but who’d be desperate enough to take her if we did?
