Trump Just Tipped His Hand On Who He Might Choose As Vice President

Talk about a match made in hell! Donald Trump says he has a very good idea who would be near the top of his list to serve as his Vice President if he were to win the 2016 GOP nomination. Are you ready for this? You might want to sit down.

He said Ted Cruz. Yes, that Ted Cruz.

During an interview with Lifezette, Trump had this to say:

“Ted Cruz is now agreeing with me 100 percent.”

Later, while appearing on Larua Ingraham’s radio show, the Donald remarked:

“Well, I like him. He’s backed everything I’ve said.”

However, as is so typical of bully boy Donald Trump, the braggart also noted that he might have to take Cruz down a few notches if he should happen to rise in the polls:

“If he catches on, I guess we’ll have to go to war.”

Just imagine that: A war between two extremist know-nothing douchebags who think we should ship all immigrants back to where they came from. So does that mean Trump would boot Teddy Boy back across the border to Canada where he was born?

Frankly, I think a Trump-Cruz Republican ticket is a great idea. It would virtually guarantee that the Democratic nominee wins in a record sweep. My guess is that the GOP would be unable to carry more than five states in the Electoral College, so what’s not to like about that if you’re a progressive?

But Trump’s musings are part of a larger narrative being written by the 2016 GOP contenders: They seem to be attempting a move so far to the right that no one short of Attila the Hun can maneuver to their right flank. That may sell among an increasingly extremist Republican base, but it will spell doom in a general election.

In other words, Donald, please make our day and pick Cruz. If you do, the election will be over before a single vote is even cast.
