Donald Trump says he doesn’t really like Twitter all that much.
Yep, the man who spends most of his waking hours tweeting out insults and inane observations is now alleging that he isn’t fond of having to post so much crap on social media.
As part of an interview Trump gave to Fox News, Trump commented:
“Look, I don’t like tweeting. I have other things I could be doing.”
Like what, Donald? Grabbing women by the genitals? Lusting over your daughter, Ivanka? Ordering Mike Pence to clean up when you make a gigantic mess in public?
“But I get very dishonest media, very dishonest press. And it’s my only way that I can counteract. When people make misstatements about me, I’m able to say it and call it out.”
Misstatements? You mean pointing out that you’re a complete imbecile who won the election with the help of Russia? Those are all facts, Donald.
If only the media would respect him, Trump whined, he would have no need to tweet like he’s some kind of 12-year-old boy:
“Now if the press were honest, which it’s not, I would absolutely not use Twitter. I wouldn’t have to.”
Another lie. One of millions which flow from the inflamed pie hole Trump claims is his mouth. I’d be willing to bet a thousand dollars Trump is so deeply addicted to Twitter that he would go into withdrawal if his computer and cell phone were taken away for more than 48 hours.
Donald Trump is a narcissist. He has a deep and desperate need to be the center of attention at all times. If he were unable to be in the news, he would wither up and disappear. So this creates a conundrum: He’s about to be president, and those of us who cover politics have no choice but to write about him. Yet a part of us wishes he would go to a deserted island with no internet connection and never come back.
In other words, you can expect plenty of tweets from this self-absorbed dillhole in the years ahead. Trump the Twitter junkie has to have his fix.
