Was William Barr An Accomplice In The ‘Suicide’ Of Jeffery Epstein?

From the moment Jeffrey Epstein was found unresponsive in his jail cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) in New York last August, there’s been endless speculation that the notorious sex offender might have been “assisted” in his actions. In other words, many wondered if Epstein had been murdered and who might be responsible for his death.

Since he was in federal custody at the time of his death, some suspected that his cellmate might have killed him. But that person had been transferred and no new cellmate had been brought it.

Attention then turned to guards at the MCC, who were supposed to look in on Epstein every 30 minutes because he had attempted suicide a month earlier and been placed on suicide watch. They failed to do so and were later placed on administrative leave. But no case was made against them by the DOJ as possibly being involved in Epstein’s death.

Since Epstein had been a close friend and associate of President Donald Trump, and his handpicked attorney general, William Barr, oversaw the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) at the time Epstein died, many began suggesting that Trump might have had Barr serve as an accomplice in the “suicide” of Jeffrey Epstein. A hashtag even sprang up on Twitter: #EpsteinDidntKillHimself.

Some of the conspiracy theories that began circulating online were tantalizing and included:

  • Barr visited Epstein at the jail days before his death
  • Barr was trying to cut all ties between Epstein and the attorney general’s late father, Donald, who hired Epstein to teach at a prestigious prep school
  • Trump had arranged for members of the mafia to kill Epstein so the case wouldn’t go to trial and Epstein spill whatever dirt he had on the president

However, all of those theories were quickly debunked or petered out due to a lack of any evidence, meaning there is no direct tie between Barr and Epstein that can be proven with absolute facts.

Then again, we can say that Barr did indeed contribute to the death of Jeffrey Epstein, if only because as AG he’s supposed to be responsible for the safety and security of every prisoner who is incarcerated by the BOP.

Bottom line: As the old saying goes, there’s some smoke when it comes to Barr and Epstein, but no fire has been located. And considering that Barr controls the entire Justice Department, there’s a very good chance that the truth will never be known.

  1. It wouldn’t surprise me. Barr has already shown many times over that he will beg, borrow & steal (& kill?) for his fearless leader. Who’s keeping an eye on these crooks through the election? My party the Democrats are very poor at oversight & at holding Trump, Barr & the Republicans accountable. The American people are paying Barr big bucks to be THEIR ATTORNEY. Instead, Barr is Trump’s personal attorney. Trump finally found his “Roy Cohen” & Barr is every bit as sleazy & cruel as Cohen was. We’d better hurry & get rid of mobster Trump & his family of thugs & traitors before they can bring any more damage to our government, Constitution & country.
