Wednesday morning, just a little more than twelve hours after alleged president Donald Trump fired FBI Director James Comey, administration spokespeople fanned out across cable news to try and spin the fact that the illegitimate head of state did a good thing by axing the person leading a criminal investigation of him and his cronies.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders showed up on Morning Joe, and she immediately attempted to say that co-host Joe Scarborough had once said there was no link between Trump and Russia. Scarborough was having none of it, and told Sanders:
“I said there’s no obvious evidence of collusion out there right now. If there were that obvious evidence of collusion, it would have already been leaked by now. I also said there have to be in-depth investigations because it may take, I think, probably an independent prosecutor to figure out the financial ties between Donald Trump and Russia.”
On the matter of an independent prosecutor, Trump’s paid liar said there have already been multiple investigations that have proven nothing, and then Sanders added:
“Joe, we’ve had almost an entire year that they have spent, the house committees, the senate committees, the FBI, everyone has looked into this and everybody comes to the same conclusion.”
That’s when co-host Mika Brzezinski perfectly silenced Sanders by declaring:
“You’re not actually telling the truth right now.”
The Trump administration is up to its eyebrows in scandal. The president himself carries the stench of treason and deception with him everywhere he slithers. The truth of this entire conspiracy will eventually be told, and when it is, the pretend president and his enables will be exposed as the criminals they are.
Not only is the White House not telling the truth “right now,” they have completely forgotten what the truth even sounds like.
