WATCH As A Trump Supporter Tells Jorge Ramos, ‘Get Out Of My Country!’

No doubt you’ve heard Donald Trump say on numerous occasions that he will win the Hispanic vote in 2016. I’m not sure what makes him think something this fallacious, but there’s no need to argue with the Donald because to hear him tell it, he’s always right.

But I think it’s instructive to consider how Trump treated Univision anchor Jorge Ramos at that Iowa news conference the other evening. And what is even more telling is how Ramos was belittled by a Trump supporter shortly after Ramos had been removed from the room.

In the video below, you will see a middle-aged white man (which seems to be the core of Trump’s support) approach Ramos and declare:

“You were pretty rude. It’s not about you. Get out of my country. Get out!”

Which, I’m convinced, is exactly what Trump wanted to say to Ramos when Ramos began asking questions. Of course, it should be noted that Ramos is an American citizen, as he pointed out to the xenophobe who wagged his finger in Ramos’ face:

“This is my country. I’m a U.S. citizen, too.”

But the angry racist jerk was not placated by the fact that Ramos is just as much of an American as he is. Ramos became a citizen in 2008. The man again pointed at Ramos and remarked:

“Whatever. No. Univision? No. It’s not about you.”

To which Ramos replied:

“It’s not about you, it’s about the United States.”

What you see in this video is the real face of what Donald Trump stands for: An angry man standing and accusing an entire race of people of being less-than-human, of being a burden, and ordering them to “Get out of my country!”

I for one would much rather see Donald Trump and his minions get out of the country. We’d be much better off without their thinly-veiled hatred of everyone they don’t like.
