Earlier this morning while appearing on CNN, 2016 GOP candidate Carly Fiorina went from smiling to surly in a matter of seconds when confronted over her repeated lies about Planned Parenthood.

You no doubt recall Fiorina’s unproven assertion at one of the Republican debates this year that Planned Parenthood harvested and sold fetal body parts, with her even going so far as to declare in a menacing tone:

“I dare Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama to watch these tapes. Watch a fully formed fetus on the table, its heart beating, its legs kicking, while someone says, ‘We have to keep it alive to harvest its brain.’ “

Of course, we now know that no such video exists or has ever existed. It’s just another one of a plethora of lies Fiorina has told about the women’s healthcare provider simply because she is anti-choice and wants to appeal to the conservative base of her party.

On Friday, CNN host Chris Cuomo asked Fiorina if she felt any culpability for her words possibly motivating the Colorado Springs shooter who killed three during an attack on a Planned Parenthood facility:

“Do you feel any sense of regret about how you characterized what was going on at Planned Parenthood after the attack in Colorado? Because of what the man said which seems as though he was influenced by some of the rhetoric coming out of you and others that painted a very ugly picture and unfair one about Planned Parenthood.”

Fiorina was not pleased with that line of inquiry and remarked:

“Oh, please. Really, Chris?”

Then Fiorina said that the videos released by the Center for Medical Progress had not been edited, even though that fact has been proven numerous times. The videos were heavily edited, as Cuomo pointed out:

“Of course they were edited. Let’s be careful about what we’re saying.”

In a mocking and condescending tone, Fiornia told Cuomo:

“Oh let’s be careful about what we’re saying. Let’s be very careful about what we’re saying.”

Cuomo then rightly pointed out that the Colorado shooter, Robert Lewis Dear, was responding to the videos, which enraged Fiorina, so she began attacking Cuomo as a journalist and saying that no one in the pro-life movement was happy about what happened in Colorado Springs.

Why might that be? Because they know they’re partially culpable and cannot be seen celebrating in public? Pack it in, Carly. You are nothing more than political leftovers that have spoiled.
