WATCH Kellyanne Conway Whine Because The Emmys Dared To Make Fun Of Trump

At Sunday evening’s broadcast of the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, there was constant ridicule of President Trump. Most performers and those giving acceptance speeches weighed in on Trump, exercising their First Amendment right to criticize an elected leader.

But the White House was deeply offended by what the TV stars had to say. Apparently it’s OK if Trump and his minions criticize President Obama for eight years, question his citizenship, and even hang him in effigy, but when the shoe is on the other foot, somehow that’s not fair.

Senior presidential adviser Kellyanne Conway appeared on Fox & Friends Monday morning to discuss the matter, and she whined:

It’s the sameness,” Conway lamented.

“They got plucked and polished and waxed and some of them didn’t eat for two months. And all for what? To sound the same?”

Instead of taking political stands, Conway added, actors should “read the stuff other people write for you.”

Yes, just be good puppets like the Trump spokespeople and do as you’re told. Don’t dare question authority or point out the ignorance and insanity of the administration’s policies. Hollywood, fall in line and do as you’re told!

Conway also seemed to suggest that the First Amendment is dangerous in a representative democracy, which is something all fascists are fond of:

“People have the right to speak freely, that’s very obvious. But again, to what end? You are showing the world that you’re so easy with an insult about our leader. I think that’s really unfortunate.”

Easy with an insult and unfortunate? Then how should we classify these comments made by Trump about President Obama:

  • “I think President Obama has been the most ignorant president in our history. His views of the world as he says don’t jibe and the world is a mess.”
  • “No, I meant he’s the founder of ISIS. I do. He was the most valuable player. I give him the most valuable player award.”
  • “Under the leadership of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, the generals have been reduced to rubble.”
  • “I think he’s been a disaster. He’s been weak, he’s been ineffective.”

Sounds like Trump is getting a heavy dose of karma, and he deserves every bit of it.

Here’s Conway being a hypocrite on Fox News:
