In Maricopa County, Arizona, last weekend, some residents–including heavily armed militiamen, white nationalists, and even some elected officials–gathered for a “March for Trump” rally. Granted, not a big deal. At least not until you watch the video of the event and hear what some of those who attended had to say.
Arizona Congressman Anthony Kern told the gathered wannabe stormtroopers:
“I heard ‘lock her up, lock her up,’ and we still need to pursue that.”
Another brainless Trump acolyte proudly shouted:
“If you don’t like it here, go to Syria, go to someplace else!”
His ignorance was echoed by another low IQ attendee who declared:
“I don’t want ’em, as a veteran I don’t want ’em, let ’em go back home. If they’ve got a problem, let Saudi Arabia take care of ’em.”
And a 13-year-old Trump supporter identified a woman he thought was Jewish and said:
“If she is Jewish, she should go back to her country.”
Later in the day, a member of the Oath Keepers told the crowd:
“I just want to let them know that I can’t wait for the liberal genocide to begin. That’s the way to make America great again. Liberals are destroying the country.”
Republicans were also excoriated by some in the audience. A man told a reporter that he believes Arizona Senator John McCain is a “secret communist.”
Keep in mind these people are representative of Donald Trump and what he stands for. These are the kind of folks who are eager and willing to believe whatever conspiracy theory they’re fed by President Steve Bannon, Breitbart, or Alex Jones. Their lives suck, so it must be someone else’s fault. They’re incapable of self-examination or trying to better themselves. It’s so much easier to hate those who have it better than them or those who look different.
When you watch this video, keep in mind this same kind of thing was prevalent in Nazi Germany. Who needs a Nuremberg rally when you can have a March for Trump in Arizona?
