BREAKING: Bill O’Reilly May Soon Be Out At Fox News

Good news for all who are sick and tired of the Chief Blowhard on Fox News, Bill O’Reilly: He may be on his way out, and it could happen as soon as next year.

O’Reilly’s show, “The O’Reilly Factor,” is currently the top-rated show on cable news, and has been for the past ten years, proving that there truly is no accounting for taste among the brainless zombies who watch Fox News religiously.

In an interview with AdWeek magazine, O’Reilly, who is now 66, said he’s not sure he wants to continue working. He was directly asked:

“How much longer do you want to do a nightly TV show?”

O’Reilly replied:

“I don’t know. I go day to day. I don’t want to work this hard much longer. I know that. Because I work hard. I earn my money.”

O’Reilly’s contract is up for renewal in late 2017. He reportedly makes $15 million a year in his current position with Fox News.

In the interview with AdWeek, O’Reilly couldn’t resist tooting his own horn when it came to his ratings:

“But the shocking thing to me is nobody beats me. These young gunslingers, they should be kind of beating me — but they’re not.”

Should O’Reilly leave, Fox News will have to decide who they get to replace him. Would they move up Megyn Kelly’s show into the 8 p.m. timeslot? Or would another host be brought in and attempt to build on O’Reilly’s ratings?

One thing is certain: If O’Reilly does retire from Fox, the airwaves will be filled with a great deal less bullshit.
