Breitbart Preparing To Launch ‘Thermonuclear War’ Against Trump For Booting Bannon

Steve Bannon is now a man without a job, so it seems logical that he’ll be returning to his old stomping grounds at Breitbart, the ultra right-wing “news” website he used to help catapult Donald Trump to the White House. But that begs the question: If Bannon does go back to Breitbart, what kind of coverage does he have planned for his former boss, President Trump?

Based on early reports, it would appear that Bannon and his compatriots at Breitbart are planning to unleash hell on the Trump administration. One of Bannon’s closest friends at Breitbart told media reporter Gabriel Sherman what the future holds for the Donald:

Another source told Jonathan Swan at Axios that Breitbart was gearing up to:

“Go ‘thermonuclear’ against ‘globalists’ that Bannon and his friends believe are ruining the Trump administration, and by extension, America.”

Breitbart editor Joel Pollak tweeted “#WAR” when news of Bannon’s ouster was made public.

Now consider what becomes of the Trump administration if indeed Breitbart and other far right websites go on the attack against the White House and treat it the way they did Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election. Might Bannon also have some inside knowledge of Trump’s collusion with Russia? Would he leak this via his website or agree to testify before a grand jury for Special Counsel Robert Mueller?

If Trump thought he was facing long odds as he tries to hit the reset button on his presidency, he may have just made his task even tougher. Who will be left to carry the Trump message? Fox News? Even they’ve begun to distance themselves from Trump after his comments on Charlottesville.

One thing seems certain: Few things will change inside the White House, because Donald Trump remains. Trump–and Trump alone–is the yawning chasm of utter chaos that threatens to consume this country.
