Clueless Conway Asserts: Now That Trump Is POTUS, His Tweets Are Presidential (VIDEO)

Were you aware that once you win a presidential election, all of your faults are transformed into spun gold? In essence, that’s what Kellyanne Conway said this morning on CNN’s State of the Union host Jake Tapper wondered aloud if Trump’s tweets about whatever random thought floats into his mostly empty head are “presidential behavior.”

Conway replied:

“Well, he’s the president-elect. So that’s presidential behavior, yes.”

Sensing Conway had just opened herself up to being asked a logical follow-up, Tapper then queried:

“So the things that Bill Clinton did in the Oval Office that you criticized, those were presidential? You are saying if the president does it, it’s presidential?”

Members of the audience began laughing when the incredibly dense Conway said:

“I wasn’t saying otherwise. The fact is that he’s president of the United States. And he’s tackling very big issues.”

Let’s be totally honest here: Donald Trump is not tackling a damn thing. Mike Pence is doing all the heavy lifting, which leaves hours upon hours of free time for Don the Con to tap away on his smart phone and post on social media. The man behaves like a spoiled teen whose parents have assured him he cannot possibly do anything wrong. He has a minimal intelligence, a bully’s temperament, and the work habits of a perpetual freeloader. He’s always had the world handed to him on a silver platter, and he isn’t about to change at the age of 70.

Just because you’re President of the United States, your actions do not automatically qualify as being “presidential,” Ms. Conway. And I have a bad feeling very little of Trump’s behavior over the next four years will remotely qualify as worthy of the office he will soon hold.
