Crybaby Conway Blames ‘Haters’ For Not Letting Her Story Of Fake Terror Attack Die (VIDEO)

Since CNN wouldn’t give her a forum for her childish whining and moaning, senior counselor to alleged president Donald Trump decided she would take her act to Fox News, which is always happy to accommodate the paid liars who work for the White House.

Appearing on Media Buzz with Howard Kurtz Sunday morning, Conway declared that “haters” were to blame for keeping the story of her creating a fictional terror attack–which she dubbed the “Bowling Green massacre”–alive:

“I should have said plot or I should have just called them terrorists. I clarified immediately. I should have said terrorists and not massacre.”

What Conway cannot seem to fathom is that her incorrect statement hasn’t gained a life of its own due to the media or people who hate her or her boss. It has become larger and refuses to fade because it’s emblematic of a much larger pattern with both Trump and those who speak on his behalf: They lie. They lie about everything. They lie when the truth would serve them better. They lie for sport. They lie as a way of deflecting attention from their own nefarious activities, and then when they get caught in their skulduggery, they lie about what they’re doing. It’s just one lie stacked atop another in a sort of modern-day Tower of Babel.

When Conway talked about “alternative facts,” she no doubt thought she was being cute by parsing each word as if she could lie her way out of a lie that had been told by press secretary Sean Spicer. But a lie is a lie no matter how you word it or how many times you tell it.

Perhaps all of us in the media would be wise to heed the words of media critic Jay Rosen, who noted this in regard to Conway:

“Just be real about it and say, ‘This isn’t actually of journalistic value. It has a different value and that’s why we’re putting it on the air. Just don’t pretend that this is a normal interview, with the normal rationale.”

But most of all, never ever forget that horrible day when the Bowling Green massacre never occurred. To forget to remember would be a sin.
