Democratic Congressman Predicts Don Jr. And Jared Kushner Will Be Indicted Soon

While most of the recent attention and news regarding the Russia investigation has been focused on Michael Cohen’s assertion that President Trump knew about the infamous 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Russian agents promising to provide damaging information on Hillary Clinton, two of the Americans in that meeting — Donald Trump Jr. and Jared Kushner — have now managed to find their way back into the headlines.

Though it’s long been assumed that both Don Jr. and Kushner are of interest to Special Counsel Robert Mueller, what a Democratic member of Congress said Monday afternoon on CNN suggests that Mueller may be on the verge of indicting the two.

Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) — who just so happens to be a member of the House Judiciary Committee — told Wolf Blitzer that comments made by both the president and his attorney, Rudy Giuliani, over the past 48 hours are an indication that the White House is in panic mode. And then he made a stunning prediction:

“I think they’re getting closer to knowing that the truth is going to come out that there was activities with the Trump campaign and Russia in releasing those hacks and guiding them to the states and the localities where they came from. Some of that was Jared Kushner’s responsibilities, some of it was Donald [Trump] Jr. I think you’re probably going to see indictments of both of those people.”

Indeed, Don Jr. and Jared played prominent roles in the 2016 Trump campaign, so it only makes sense that they might have serious legal exposure if and when Mueller begins indicting more Americans who conspired with their Russian counterparts.

Blitzer seemed more than a little surprised by what Cohen had just said, wondering if he had any inside knowledge about who might be next to see their name on an indictment. To that, Cohen replied:

“It’s a serious charge, Wolf, and time will show whether I’m correct or not. But I believe I am correct… if it walks like a duck, if it swims like a duck, if it quacks like a duck, it’s a duck. And you can see where it’s going.”

Let’s not forget that the third person at the Trump Tower meeting with Don Jr. and Kushner was former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort. He’s already been indicted and goes on trial in federal court starting Tuesday.

Looks like Robert Mueller is about to round up the big name traitors and make them pay for their crimes.
