Desperate Trump Tries To Accuse Biden Of Being Opposed To Vaccinations And Gets Humiliated

Donald Trump’s desperation is palpable, and it was on full display Thursday when he held a press conference to try and counter the many damaging revelations from Bob Woodward’s latest book, Rage, which has the White House on the defensive as the administration tries to change the topic or at least present it in a less humiliating light.

But as with nearly every error committed by Trump, his endless talking and attempts to make things better only wind up digging the hole he’s in even deeper.

At one point on Thursday, Trump was in full deflection mode, trying to blame Woodward for 190.000+ American dead from coronavirus, which led to a detour about the vaccine he’s been promising will be ready very soon. During that rant, he tried to make it sound like Joe Biden is an anti-vaxxer, which is complete bullshit:

“Now Biden has launched a public campaign against the vaccine. It’s so bad. Scott (Atlas) was telling me about some of the things that are happening and it’s very exciting. Scott, thank you for being here. You don’t want anything to do with political purposes, being an anti-vaxxer. You don’t want to talk about the vaccine in a negative way especially when you see the statistics that we’re starting to see. They’re incredible. Biden is perfectly happy to endanger the lives of other people by doing something that he thinks is going to help him politically because his polls are getting very bad.”

Here’s what Biden actually said about Trump’s “magic” vaccine which the president has teased might be ready right before Election Day:

“If I could get a vaccine tomorrow, I’d do it. If it cost me the election, I’d do it. We need a vaccine, and we need it now. As quickly as we can get it. We have to listen to the scientists.”

Does that sound like a man opposed to a vaccine? All he said was he wants to follow the science, not Trump’s wishful thinking.

Trump wound up getting embarrassed by his remarks, as he so often does, and he also got plenty of mockery on Twitter:

As usual, Trump has failed and yet he wants us to blame others for his failure. It’s like something a three-year-old would try to pull: I know you are, but what am I?

The election cannot possibly get here soon enough.
