Does CNN Have Transcripts Proving Bannon, Kushner, And Trump Committed Treason?

Donald Trump’s recent attacks against CNN may have been much more than his usual dissatisfaction with any news organization which refuses to present him in a favorable light. It now appears that CNN–along with at least one other news outlet–is in possession of information which could potentially blow the lid off the Russia investigation.

Claude Taylor, a former adviser to President Bill Clinton, has been saying for months that the federal investigations into the 2016 election are indeed yielding fruit in the form of grand juries, subpoenas, and other legal actions against those thought to have been involved in assisting the Russians. Some of the names mentioned include disgraced National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.

But now Taylor, who posts his information on the Patribotics blog site, is reporting that top CNN executives say they have transcripts of telephone conversations between White House adviser Steve Bannon, Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, and a high-ranking Russian official:

Other sources have partially confirmed what Taylor posted:

None of this is completely confirmed by independent sources, and it may take a while for it to pan out. But consider the possibility of what is contained in what we do know:

  • CNN and the Washington Post have transcripts of Bannon and Kushner talking to Russian officials.
  • Special Counsel Robert Mueller has asked both news organizations to hold off on releasing the information they have as it might jeopardize the federal investigation.
  • Bannon and Kushner are the president’s two most trusted advisers. If they were dealing with Russian contacts, how could Trump not know?

Suddenly Trump’s relentless attacks on both CNN and the Post make perfect sense. He knows they have information that could potentially lead to his impeachment and even imprisonment. No wonder he hates them so much.
