Former FBI Assistant Director Predicts: Mueller Is About To ‘Indict Some Folks’

For weeks now, we’ve all been wondering what the next step will be in the investigation being conducted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller into the 2016 election.

Now that the midterms are behind us, former FBI Assistant Director for Counterintelligence Frank Figliuzzi believes there’s about to be a flurry of new indictments, and those indictments may have some well-known names on them.

Appearing on MSNBC’s “The 11th Hour” this week, Figliuzzi told host Brian Williams:

“I’m not saying he’s indicting the president. I’m saying there’s a middle ground where he tells us the story, locks it into the court system by indicting others, then files a report.”

While Mueller may not formally indict President Trump, Figliuzzi added, he could be planning to show just how corrupt Trump is with the next batch of indictments:

“Perhaps what we’ll see is Bob Mueller telling us the story of a corrupt president through indictments.”

The appointment of Matt Whitaker — a longtime critic of the Mueller probe — as acting attorney general will likely lead to the special counsel moving quickly in the days ahead. As Figliuzzi noted:

“I think the Whitaker appointment steps up the timeline, and I think perhaps if Mueller sticks to the strategy of telling us the story through indictments — the indictments speak to us — that he’ll speak to us soon, very soon, with additional indictments, perhaps that tell the story of a corrupt president.”

Wondering what names will be on those upcoming indictments? Here are three people who will almost certainly make an appearance:

  • Donald Trump Jr.: Junior was at the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting to obtain “dirt” on Hillary Clinton.
  • Jared Kushner: Jared was also at the Trump Tower meeting and is believed to have numerous business ties to Russian oligarchs.
  • Roger Stone: Stone was allegedly the go-between who arranged for hacked emails to be forwarded to WikiLeaks. Those emails were then released in the final months of the 2016 election.

We’re about to see a lot of tangible results in the Russia probe. And that’s got to terrify the Traitor-in-Chief.
