Hateful Jan Brewer Gets SHAMED ON-AIR For Not Criticizing Trump’s Birther Claims (VIDEO)

After five long years and endless insinuations regarding where President Obama was born (in Hawaii, just as it says right on his birth certificate), Donald Trump announced this week that he now accepts the fact that the President is indeed an American citizen. However, Trump offered no apology, and none of the Republicans who had stoked the fires of doubt for the past half-decade have been trying to make amends for repeating such noxious rhetoric.

On CNN’s “State of the Union” today, one of the most hateful and washed-up members of the GOP got her ass handed to her on-air during a discussion of the entire birther controversy. Brewer attempted to quote the President as a shield against her own complicity in the matter, saying:

“President Obama said yesterday we have more important things to talk about.”

Neera Tanden of the Center for American Progress then proceeded to rip Brewer a new sphincter by telling her:

“I have to say that when you, five years, ago, were able to say that this birther stuff was nonsense, and we have the Republican nominee not capable of saying it in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and then says this thing he should have said years ago and then he starts another lie around it, it tells you who you can trust. Honestly, this was a lie, this was a lie and he lied again when he said I was wrong, and that was outrageous.”

The former Arizona governor then resorted to the blame shifting defense, alleging that there had been a “feeding frenzy on both sides of the aisle” over the issue of where the President was born. But Tanden wasn’t buying that one, either, exclaiming:

“A feeding frenzy he created! “

Host Jake Tapper asked Brewer:

“What do you mean by both sides of the aisle?”

Much like Trump himself, Brewer doubled down on her lie:

“Well, you had Democrats repeating it. They were questioning where he was born.”

Not true, and never will be true. Why is that Republicans who support Trump feel the need to lie for their candidate? Are they instructed to do so by campaign staffers? Stacking one lie atop another only serves to draw attention to the massive structure of bullshit you have just constructed. In this case, that mile-high stack of bullshit has a name: Donald J. Trump.
