Last night in Phoenix, Arizona, Donald Trump finally laid out his long-anticipated policy position on the issue of immigration. Instead of being more sympathetic and tolerant, Trump relied on his oft-repeated talking points: Build a wall, deport millions, have Mexico pay for everything.

This morning on the MSNBC show “Morning Joe,” Hispanic Chamber of Commerce CEO Javier Palomarez was asked to offer his post-mortem on Trump’s speech, and he didn’t mince any words, saying:

“He’s painted himself into this box. He’s damned if he does, and damned if he doesn’t. He really had to come back out and fire up his base, but in reality he hasn’t done anything to help himself in terms of growing the number [of supporters].”

Will any Hispanics vote for Trump? To that, Palomarez commented that Trump is “done for” among the American Latino community, and that spells doom for him in November.

Palomarez also added this:

“I don’t know if you guys speak Spanish, but I want you to remember this one word: ‘Payaso’ It means ‘clown.’ This guy is a complete clown.”

Exactly! Donald Trump is indeed a joke, a person we can laugh at the same way we would a clown. He is pathetic and gets more annoying with each passing day. One can only imagine how badly he will humiliate himself when he debates Hillary Clinton later this month. Does he even realize that we’re all making fun of him?
