Jared Kushner Just Made It Clear That He’s Ready To Take Down Donald Trump (DETAILS)

There’s an old saying that goes like this: Blood is thicker than water. In other words, family sticks together. A family member can almost always be counted on to have your back, no matter the circumstance. But does that apply to in-laws, or is there a different standard?

In the case of Jared Kushner, son-in-law to President Trump, it now appears that Jared is ready, willing, and able to give up his father-in-law in order to save his own skin.

On Friday, The Washington Post reported that Kushner’s legal team is in the market to engage the services of a “crisis public relations firm.” The report noted that Kushner’s lead attorney, Abbe Lowell, has reached out to at least two PR firms over the past couple of weeks.

Why would Kushner, through his lawyers, be reaching out to PR firms that specialize in crisis management? Two possible reasons:

  1. Kushner and his legal team know he’s about to be arrested and charged by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
  2. Kushner is about to cut a plea deal with Mueller and tell everything he knows about his role in 2016 election conspiracy with Russia.

No matter which of these comes to pass, it pays to remember that Kushner has extensive business ties and real estate holdings. He doesn’t want an indictment or guilty plea to shake up investors in his projects and leave him without the money he’ll need to defend himself in the months ahead. Also, he has to look out for the future of his young children.

It’s been a bit of a Washington parlor game to wonder if Kushner will indeed flip on Donald Trump when the screws are applied to him by Robert Mueller. Kushner is only 36 years old. Do you think he’s willing to spend the next 20-30 years of his life in federal prison to protect a man as self-absorbed and vengeful as his father-in-law?

Here’s my personal belief of what happens next: Kushner is indicted but then agrees to tell what he knows to a grand jury in exchange for consideration if and when he’s convicted and sentenced on some smaller crime.
