While campaigning for Hillary Clinton in Charlotte, North Carolina, Tuesday, First Lady Michelle Obama managed to inflict one of the best burns yet on Donald Trump.

Mrs. Obama began by saying the country needs a “steady,” “measured,” and “honest” leader, not a misogynist who doesn’t pay taxes. Then she added:

“When [Clinton] gets knocked down, she doesn’t complain.”

As she said the word “complain,” the First Lady tapped the microphone and then continued:

“She doesn’t cry foul. No, she gets right back up, comes back stronger for the people who needs her most.

The mic tap was a subtle (but incredibly effective) slap at Donald Trump, who claimed his microphone was defective shortly after he lost the first debate to Hillary Clinton.

But Mrs. Obama was far from finished dishing out the slams aimed at Trump, even though she never actually mentioned him by name:

“When making life-or-death, war-or-peace decisions, a president can’t just pop off or lash out irrationally. And I think we can all agree that someone who’s roaming around at 3 a.m. tweeting should not have their fingers on the nuclear codes.”

Big amen to that! As Clinton and her surrogates keep reiterating, Donald Trump is not a man who should be given control of nuclear weapons. First time a foreign leader says his hands are tiny (which they are), he’ll declare war and start firing ICBMs. Trump is a danger to all living things.
