More Insults From Trump–This Time Uses Fake Indian Accent (Video)

In recent days, we’ve been hearing a new message from the Trump campaign: Now that the GOP front-runner appears to be even closer to securing the delegates needed for a first ballot victory at the Republican convention in July, he’s going to be “more Presidential.” Trump himself even made reference to it earlier this week:

“I will be so presidential, you will be so bored. You’ll say, ‘Can’t he have a little more energy?’”

Of course, as with all things Trump, don’t believe a word of it until you see it with your own eyes.

The supposedly new and improved Donald Trump was on full display yesterday during a campaign rally in Delaware. He told a crowd of supporters this:

“You want to find out about your credit card — guess what, you’re talking to a person from India. How the hell does that work?”

Trump then went on to say that he had recently called the customer service number for one of his credit cards (which sounds more than a bit dubious to me. Don’t billionaires have people do that kind of thing for them?) and asked the person on the other end of the line:

“Where are you from?”

Complete with a fake Indian accent, Trump continued his offensive tale, saying the person told him:

“We are from India.”

Then Trump pretended he was hanging up the phone.

Yeah, that’s real Presidential, isn’t it?

Next Wednesday, Trump is set to address the National Press Club, and he is supposed to even give some concrete policy proposals as the old Trump magically morphs into the new non-offensive version.

But again, believe it when you see it.
